Funeral Services
Funeral Services and Memorials
Whatever memorial or funeral service you wish to hold for your loved one, I will help you plan a ceremony that ensures the deceased’s wishes are fulfilled and their life is honoured fully and sensitively. Ensuring your celebrant-led ceremony is a true reflection of the person you love will help you come to terms with the loss.
Celebrant-led funerals allow for a more open and inclusive approach than perhaps a more traditional funeral would. It takes the mourners on a journey through the life of their loved one, acknowledging the grief and pain of losing them. The aim is to take the terrible sorrow and use it as an opportunity to reflect and celebrate the life of the deceased, leaving attendees with a sense of peace.
My job as a celebrant at a funeral service or memorial is to plan and lead a ceremony that reflects what your loved one believed, how they lived, and why they will be missed. This will be carried out with the utmost respect and sensitivity, bringing the words you need when it may be hard for you to find the right ones.
How it works
1.
Following your contact, I will meet with you and the family to discuss the order of service and prepare the eulogy.
2.
I’ll plan the service with your own chosen elements: readings, music, their life story, tributes from family and friends or colleagues and a committal where mourners get to say their final goodbyes.
